Visit from the Fire Department

On 26.06.2025, Charlotte Henn, Noah Schmidt and Tara Bilello (4b) gave a presentation about the Wirges Fire Department. They chose this topic because all 3 of them are in the youth fire department in Wirges and Charlotte Henn's father (Christian Henn) works in the operations division. When they gave their presentation, Christian Henn and Can Kesgin came by to show the other children the equipment.

3 groups were formed. Demonstrations were given of the hollow jet nozzle, the thermal imaging camera and the hydraulic rescue tool. The children were allowed to spray water.

Charlotte, Noah and Tara also showed the children the fire truck. Thank you to Christian Henn and Can Kesgin! (Written by Charlotte Henn and Noah Schmidt, 4b)
