Festive Farewell to Dieter Hutya as Chairman of the Support Association

School Life

Dieter Hutya, long-time chairman of the support association, formally bid farewell.

At the edge of the fun run day of Theodor-Heuss-Grundschule Wirges, Dieter Hutya, long-time chairman of the support association, was formally honored and bid farewell for his many years of dedicated work. In a brief speech, the new 1st chairwoman, Julia Stammer, warmly thanked her predecessor for his reliable support and formative work.
During Hutya's time in office, numerous initiatives took place that visibly enriched school life: sports festivals and fun run days, creative schoolyard paintings, the planting of trees, and the installation of the equipment shed. Because nature is particularly close to his heart, Mrs. Stammer presented a small maple tree as a sign of appreciation. This is to be planted on the school grounds and provided with a memorial plaque – a lasting sign of gratitude.
To the applause of the staff and the school board chairwoman, Yasemin Weitz, Dieter Hutya emphasized the always respectful collaboration and stressed how much he felt at home at the school and how gladly he supported the work there.
